Matilde Argiolas

The plates are hand-decorated using the ‘third fire’ technique, painted over the glaze at a temperature that, depending on the colors, ranges between 720 degrees and 800 degrees.

The decorative process involves as many firings as there are colors.

Starting with those that require a higher temperature (blue, green, purple, pink) and progressing to those, like reds, that, like lusters, require a lower temperature.
