It has been more than 20 years since Lea started carving wood, a passion passed down from her ancestors. She also involved her husband Alfredo, who prepares the raw artifacts using the local Swiss stone pine ‘arolla.’
Her creations are polychrome carvings made with a knife point. Decorative objects for the home that evoke memories of the daily life of a bygone era are the result of her work, also stemming from in-depth historical research.
