She was a star, perhaps a comet, maybe a planet that lost its way. Now she’s a queen, but to sleep without falling and rest without trembling, she must abdicate, and she can’t do it. Too afraid of not knowing how to fly. Bottle, my friend, help me reign, let me dance without remembering who I was back when Gilda wasn’t here. Give me your hand and hold me close.”
